Wedding on the Winter Solstice

On the winter solstice 2025 I got a call from the someone saying his daughter was going to be married that afternoon and the photographer pulled out sick. I packed my bag and rushed to London for the ceremony.

The ceremony was at 4pm and when I arrived, it was getting dark already. I arrived early and the bride and her family were getting ready.

After the ceremony, it was dark and raining and they had booked a restaurant for the reception. I shot the party as they made their way to the venue, getting rather wet in the process. But for me that is all part of the fun!
