Hi, I’m Jay.

I’ve been photographing weddings for over a decade, and what I still love most is that no two days are ever quite the same.
​
My approach is relaxed, documentary and unobtrusive. I’m much more interested in genuine moments than constantly directing your day — the laughter, nerves, hugs, reactions and little things happening around you that can easily go unnoticed.
I’ll happily give you some guidance when it’s useful, particularly for couple and group photographs, but for most of the day I want you to forget about the camera and enjoy yourselves.

The photographs I love most are the ones that take you straight back to a moment. I want your wedding gallery to remind you not only what your day looked like, but how it felt.

After more than ten years photographing weddings, I also know how important it is to stay calm when plans change, work quickly when time is limited and help people feel comfortable in front of the camera. My aim is to make the photography one part of your wedding that you simply don’t need to worry about.

What It’s Like Having Me at Your Wedding
My job is to make the photography feel easy.
For most of the day, I’ll quietly document what’s happening around me — the nerves before the ceremony, the laughter with friends, the reactions, the hugs and all the little moments in between.
When you do need a bit of direction, I’ll keep it simple and relaxed. I’ll help with couple portraits and group photographs, but I won’t turn your wedding into a long photoshoot or keep you away from your guests for ages.
I want you to be able to enjoy your day properly, knowing that everything important is being captured naturally.
Whether you’re planning an intimate registry office ceremony or a larger celebration, I’ll approach your wedding in the same way: calmly, thoughtfully and without forcing moments that are already happening beautifully on their own.
