A Relaxed Wedding at Hackney Town Hall

I recently had the pleasure of photographing a wedding at Hackney Town Hall, and what a fantastic venue it turned out to be. The beautiful Art Deco building has so much character, from its impressive architecture to the grand staircase that makes a perfect backdrop for wedding photographs.
Although it was an intimate wedding with around fifteen guests and I was booked for just two hours, there was still plenty of time to capture the story of the day. I met everyone before the ceremony and got straight to work, photographing the excitement as guests arrived and documenting the ceremony naturally as it unfolded.

Afterwards, we made the short walk to Victoria Park, where we took some relaxed couple portraits along with a few group photographs with family and friends. The park provided a lovely contrast to the elegant surroundings of the town hall, giving us a mixture of classic architecture and beautiful green spaces

.
One of the things I enjoy most about smaller weddings is how relaxed they can be. With fewer guests and a more intimate atmosphere, couples often have more time to simply enjoy the moment, and that always shines through in the photographs.

Even in just two hours, we created a gallery full of genuine moments, laughter and beautiful memories that perfectly captured this wonderful London wedding.
